THDA Privacy Policy
Your personal information is carefully stored on our Database and its safety is important to us. We will not share your personal information to any third party. We will take special care to protect the privacy and security of your information. All Participation, Registration and Health forms will be kept with our staff once information is entered into our main database where only the managing director has access. This Privacy Policy covers the information you provide to us offline and via our contact portal on the website. ONLY staff and main volunteers have access to your information.
What Does True Heights Management Do With Your Information Once It Is Collected
When you register for classes at THDA, we firstly ask for your email. This then allows staff to send you all relevant paperwork. On the paperwork you receive we collect contact information such as guardian names, addresses, phone numbers, emergency contacts, e-mail address and student information such as student names, birthdays, medical conditions, and disabilities if any. Most of the information is optional however we prefer if you fill in all fields requested, this help us better understand our customers and is used only as needed and in case of an emergency. You email address is added to our bulk email system where we disrepute all our newsletters.
General Terms
The most up to date information regarding classes, timetable, locations, prices, etc will be displayed on our website and in your emails. An updated newsletter is sent out 1-2 a term.
In case of discrepancy of information published on the website or newsletter and any other materials or provided over the phone, the information displayed on the website will prevail.
Attending Classes
Maximum numbers are set, and these differ depending on venue. Once numbers are maxed a waiting list comes into play. Classes are set in a first in first serve basis. To ensure your place in a particular class, please come along in week 1 or week 2 and register prior to classes commencing by supplying THDA staff with your email.
If your account shows a week nonattendance pattern your spot will be given to another dancer. Staff will follow up however if there is not response action will be taken.
If you are unable to make any class we ask if you can email, call or text manager or your teacher. If we do not receive an explanation of your absence, you with be asked to pay for the class you missed the following week.
Free Trial For All New Dancers
This Does Not Apply For Returning Dancers or Change of Class
Clubs commence on the first week of the school term and your free trial must be claimed before the term cut off period.
All classes have a student limit/student to teacher ratio.
- Term 1 – Week 5 Cut off
- Term 2 – Week 2 Cut off (not including LG or MINI G)
- Term 3 – Week 5 Cut off (not including LG or MINI G)
- Term 4 – Week 2 Cut off (All existing clubs)
Timetable
We reserve the right to add, change or remove classes and instructors on our timetables without notice. The most up-to-date timetable will be available at our website or will be distributed to your emails.
Your Health
In attending our classes, we trust that you are in good health condition and that you know of no medical or other reason why you cannot or should not engage on active or passive exercise. If you have any doubts, we strongly urge you to seek expert advice before starting classes with us. If you have a pre-existing medical condition or injury however you have been cleared to dance, please note this on your participation form or we may refuse to teach you until this is actioned.
We ask you understand there are specific risks of physical or property damages, losses, or injury that may result from your participation with THDA classes, and you voluntarily assume the risks associated with such participation.
Payments And Fees
General Terms
- All dance classes are to be paid on a week to week basis or by the term which is subject to the number of weeks in the term. Any outstanding amounts in your account must be paid before you can attend classes. If you prefer to pay your fees in advance, you can make a full upfront payment at a discounted rate within the first 2 weeks of each new term.
- If you want to attend any of our tours, camps or workshops payments are to be made in full before the event commences or dancer will not be able to participate.
- If you are on a monthly, fortnightly payment agreement you need to ensure this is kept consistent and within agreement between the two parties.
- If you prefer to pay your membership fee in advance, you can make a full upfront payment at a discounted rate.
- All Sports For School Vouchers are processed the week of hand in. No refunds accepted ( only term transfers ) i.e. if your child has decided to stop for term 1 and return term 2 we can transfer paid money over to the future term.
Our Fees
Our weekly and term prices are displayed on the website and at each venue with the timetable. They are subject to change without notice.
Do We Have EFTPOS
Yes we do! We do not have a minimum however we do have a 50c surcharge under $130.00. We DO NOT have Eftpos at Victor Harbor. Bank transfers are accepted for term payments ONLY.
Auto-Register
What Is Auto-Register
Auto register is an automatic name roll over each term. Unless staff are told you won’t be returning to classes when term rolls over, we will automatically add your name in the class. Registration fees are due with the first 3 weeks to ensure your spot is secured. Classes are planned prior to week 1, we calculate the number we had in the previous term and whom we had in the previous term to plan our routines effectively.
Cancelations And Refunds
- If you paid upfront, including registration fees, we will not refund due to change of mind. We will offer you a refund for injury or unforeseen circumstances.
- Drop-in classes cannot be refunded.
- Week to week basis classes are to paid upfront unless otherwise discussed or arranged. There is no refund is student attended the entire class. A partial refund will also not be accepted if child is unwell and leaves class early.
- You can cancel your classes with True Heights at any time you wish to do so, however you need to let us know or your account may come in arrears and an invoice will be sent to your email for the classes which were missed and unexplained.
All communication regarding cancellations for, classes, camps, events, tours must be done via phone call or face-to-face conversation.
Tours, Workshops or Camps
We do not offer refunds for pro-paid tours, camps and/or workshops.
Public Holidays & Annual Breaks
Cancellation of Classes
THDA reserves the right to cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances at any time. We are not open on public holidays or Christmas Holidays. We will make a reasonable effort to inform cancellation of classes in advance via our social media channels and via email or text. There will be roll over fees if class is cancelled. You will not pay for a class if we choose to cancel it.
Private Classes
- Prices are for 1 instructor. For 2 instructors, please apply half the original rate $35ph.
- Private classes must be paid when booked. Bookings can only be confirmed upon full payment.
- Private classes are non-refundable.
- Private classes are individually tailored between coach and dancer (parent if needed).
Studio Code & Rules
Respecting Our Facilities & Dance Rules
You are responsible for using our facilities with care. Note that you will be responsible for any damage that you or your guests cause through a willful act or negligence. Please also supervise children closely and ensure you are aware of pick up time after class.
Please ensure you obey by the following:
- Dress the part, like you are ready to dance and comfortable i.e. Proper dance attire including enclosed footwear. PLEASE WEAR YOUR TRAINING WEAR
- Arrive early to class*
- Use kind words and treat others kindly*
- Clean up after yourself *
- Wait for your turn
- Bring a drink bottle to every class
- Stretch regularly to increase flexibility

Keeping Your Belonging Safe
We can refuse entry to anyone, if you act unreasonably or break the rules. If you behave in an unlawful manner, we will refuse your attendance immediately. We can refuse your attendance without warning if you behave in a way that is risky or seriously inappropriate, such as:
- Threatening or harassing others
- Damaging premises
- Using illegal or performance-enhancing drugs
- Instructing other members when we have not authorized you to do so

THDA provides links to websites outside of our site. These linked sites are not under the control of THDA, and THDA is not responsible for the conduct of companies linked to the THDC website, nor for the performance or otherwise of any content and/or software contained in such external websites. All resources are personally recommended services we have either dealt with ourselves or heard great reviews.

THDA reserves the right to review, amend, update and change this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect its practices and obligations. This includes our following documentation:

Change of Location
We can change the location at anytime if we find we have to for any reason. We will give you 14 days notice in writing via email and hard copy. We will do our best to advertise and ensure you are aware of the change.
